Competition period: June 1, 2026 to July 19, 2026. The competition runs in six rounds as detailed on the FAQ.

Eligibility: The GraphAcademy Cup is open to anyone with a GraphAcademy account, except employees of Neo4j and their immediate family members, and residents of countries subject to comprehensive US trade sanctions (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the occupied Ukrainian regions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk). There is no minimum age requirement to participate, however winners under the age of 18 may be required to provide parental or guardian consent before prizes can be fulfilled.

How to enter: Participants must create a free GraphAcademy account and join a country team during the competition period. Points are earned by completing courses on GraphAcademy. Entry into community prize draws requires posting a project or learning write-up on the GraphAcademy community site during the relevant round.

Prize draws: Aura credit winners are selected by random draw from all eligible participants who completed at least one course during that round. Community Lego prize winners are selected by random draw from all community posts made during that round. Draws are conducted by the GraphAcademy team. The Promoter’s decision is final.

Prize limits: A maximum of one Aura credit prize per participant per round. A maximum of two Aura credit prizes per participant across the full tournament. A maximum of one physical Lego prize (community or finale) per participant across the full tournament.

Prize notification: Aura credit winners are notified by email to the address registered on their GraphAcademy account within two days of the round closing. Community Lego prize winners are notified by direct message on the GraphAcademy community site. Winners must respond within 14 days of notification. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw if a winner does not respond within 14 days or is unable to accept the prize.

Physical prize fulfilment: Physical prizes (Lego sets and the tournament trophy) are shipped from the United States. The Promoter will request a delivery address from winners and will not retain this information after the competition period ends. The Promoter cannot guarantee delivery timescales and is not responsible for delays or losses caused by third-party couriers or customs processes.

Aura credits: Aura credits are awarded to the winner’s Neo4j Aura account and are subject to Neo4j’s standard Aura terms of service. Credits have no cash value.

Data: Personal data collected during prize fulfilment (postal addresses) is used solely to deliver prizes and will not be retained after July 19, 2026. GraphAcademy account data is held in accordance with Neo4j’s privacy policy at neo4j.com/privacy. To delete your GraphAcademy account, email accounts@neo4j.com.

General: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition at any time. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, or corrupted. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
